Fadia Rostom is the founder and principal consultant of Vision Scholar Consultation — a K–12 AI education consultancy based in Pittsfield, MA. With over 30 years spanning classroom teaching, school leadership, curriculum development, and technology, she brings a rare combination of technical fluency and educational depth to every engagement.
"AI integration is not about adding tools to classrooms. It's about building the human capacity to use them wisely, equitably, and with purpose."
Before founding Vision Scholar, Fadia served as Principal of Saint Agnes Academy (K–8) in Dalton, MA — where her school earned top marks in NEASC accreditation. She holds two degrees in Computer Science, a Massachusetts Principal/Administrator license, an MA in Educational Leadership from Fitchburg State (2025), and MCSE/MCSA certifications.
As an immigrant who built her life in the US navigating a new language and culture, Fadia brings authentic insight to equity-centered work. She's a mother of three daughters, active in Berkshire community leadership, and chairs The WE in AI Berkshire Summit — a regional convening that has brought together Harvard, MIT, UMass, and DESE partners.
She speaks nationally at conferences including NEASC, DLAC, and MATSOL, and is fluent in Arabic and English with working knowledge of Spanish.

Teaching & Learning in the Age of AI
"AI integration is not an individual journey — it is a collective responsibility to our students, our community, and our educational future."
Summit ThemeFadia delivered an exceptionally engaging professional development experience for our educators. Participants consistently praised her as an 'amazing' and 'excellent' facilitator who made content both informative and interactive. Educators left feeling motivated and eager to attend future sessions with Fadia.
Fadia is an experienced school leader who understands the imperative to place students at the center of all we do as educators. She is thoughtful and intentional in her approach to the challenges schools face in 2025, leading with compassion.
I've had the pleasure of working with Fadia on numerous professional development sessions, and she consistently demonstrates the qualities of an exceptional facilitator — deep knowledge, organization, creativity, and thoughtful follow-up that ensures participants feel both supported and inspired.
Working with Fadia as our NEASC Chair was an inspiring and enriching experience. She led with both precision and compassion, guiding our team through reflection, growth, and meaningful dialogue. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to any organization seeking purposeful growth and lasting impact.
Our faculty had the privilege of attending an AI workshop with Fadia and we all learned so much. She easily communicated how to use AI programs that most teachers had never used. I highly recommend Fadia's services for faculty and staff — she makes learning fun.
Her imprint could be felt at all corners of the school. She was engaged, constantly evaluating, using proper discretion, and elevating all those around her on a daily basis. The school and its educators functioned efficiently because of how Principal Makdisi empowered people to do and be better.
